The Kıran Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Espiye district of Giresun province, operates on an area of 500,900 m². The plant has an installed capacity of 9.94 MW.

Kıran HEPP produces an average of 38 million kWh of electricity annually and meets the annual electricity needs of 8,583 residences.

With the investment, 22,928 tons of carbon emission reduction is achieved per year, and thanks to environmentally friendly energy production, energy production equal to the benefit provided to the environment by 1,091,828 trees will be realized yearly.
